I am a Cornwall-based theatre director with more than twenty years professional experience working with performers, companies & theatres.

I am also the Artistic Director of o-region, a Associate Artist at Hall for Cornwall and had a long Association with Kneehigh Theatre. I have experience of working at small and midscale both nationally and Internationally (UK, Ireland, Australia and the USA). In 2022 my show Pride and Prejudice Sort of was the recipient of the Oliver Award for Best New Comedy.

o-region are currently looking at plans to remount and tour the show nationally around the UK in 2026 - more news when we have it.

Earlier this year as part of the outreach project which supported the development of WHITE HORSE, we produced and released a From the Horse’s Mouth podcast - featuring original writing from a host of Cornish writers including Anna Maria Murphy, Oliver Berry, Brett Harvey, Sarah Dickenson, Callum Mitchell and others. Plans are afoot to extend this project with fresh material in the coming months.

The two shows (Brief Encounter and Pride and Prejudice Sort of) which I directed for David Pugh / Cunard Cruises continue to play in rep and tour the world on Cunard’s newest ship the Queen Anne.

I am currently directing a new show The Ghosts of Pendu Manor by Sarah Connors for the Hall for Cornwall’s Young Company which be performed on July 26th 2025.

I am working currently with Brett Harvey on developing a new feature film project entitled Fullstops. Not Tadpoles,
